On April 6–7, 2025, the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale was held at Riverside Stables in Sydney—widely regarded as the premier yearling sale in the Southern Hemisphere. The sale once again attracted top owners and trainers from Australia and around the globe, showcasing the progeny of leading sires and blue-blooded mares. In 2024, the sale made headlines when a filly out of the legendary Winx was knocked down for A$10 million.

Daiki attended the Easter Sale for the second consecutive year. This time, he secured a yearling by Home Affairs on behalf of a Hong Kong-based owner. Home Affairs has been a talking point in the industry since a filly by the sire was purchased by JRA trainer Mitsumasa Nakauchida at the Gold Coast Magic Millions in January for around A$3.2 million.

Daiki also assisted owner Koji Oka in purchasing a filly by Zoustar, who is set to continue her racing career in Japan. Expectations are high for her performance on Japanese turf.

Speaking about the sale, Daiki commented:

“Only foals that have been inspected and approved by Inglis as weanlings are eligible to be catalogued in the Easter Sale. That selection process ensures an incredibly high standard, similar to what we see at the Select Sale in Japan. These are elite yearlings in terms of pedigree and physical conformation. I’m really looking forward to seeing how the horses we secured this year perform on the track.”
