On May 16, the Grafton races were held, with numerous horses from the Japanoz stable participating in six races and two trials. Among them, Into the Zone and Vermeer achieved remarkable victories. Due to recent

adverse weather conditions, race meetings in this region had been repeatedly canceled, resulting in a high number of entries for the day, with nine races scheduled. Fortunately, the event was held successfully.

Even at the local Ballina racecourse, the rain had made it challenging to conduct proper training, making it difficult to maintain the horses’ condition. Despite these challenges, the dedicated efforts of the staff and the support from the racecourse community made these victories possible.
