Dam Rainbow Song won 3 races at the metropolitan level in Japan. She’s a half sister to the G1 Winner Rainbow Line. Before she was coming to Down Under she was served by Harbinger, who’s a sire of the multiple G1 winners in Japan and also our own star in the making, Do It For You.

Rainbow Song gave the filly a birth at Arrowfield after arriving to Australia. This filly was raised at the elite stud and then sold onto the South Australia’s leading trainer Philip Stokes.

Stokes saw the loads of talent in this filly as a stayer and decided to raise her slowly and carefully, aiming for the 3yo staying races. The filly responded well to his training methods, growing up to his expectation and she was all set to start her racing campaign this Summer.

One of our loyal owners, who has a share in Do It For You, was on a hunt for getting another Harbinger progeny. After the research successfully finding this filly and contacted Stokes for some deals.

Firstly Stokes was reluctant to let the filly go out of his hands. But with our owner’s determination and the sincere desire, Stokes agreed to let the filly relocate the state.

This filly is now owned by our owner and we are pleased to announce that we are selling her 25% of her shares on behalf.

“ I didn’t even know there was another Harbinger progeny existed in Australia until I was told the news. She has the same cross as Harvey(Do It For You) which is Harbinger x Sunday Silence line mare. I have a big opinion of Harvey and this filly gave me the same impression as his when she got off the truck.

Japanese breeding is dominating in the world now, I’m sure she’s going to be a great stayer that we can aim for the QLD Oaks in 2024”
