True Fairy secured her second victory at Grafton Racecourse. With the third outermost barrier draw, I knew the race wouldn’t be easy. Starting the race, she settled towards the rear, even maintaining that position at the 600m mark, which brought some concern. However, True Fairy made a remarkable move on the outside coming in to the straight, she effortlessly surged past the competition

Jockey Nori commented, “After discussing with the stable, we aimed to have an easy win if possible, aligning with the standard for the race in two weeks. We had to drop back in position during the race, and as the horse I was following wasn’t a strong contender, I had to choose to go around the fields. Despite starting to make up the ground from the 600m mark, True Fairy was able to show the ability in the end, which was reassuring. ”

With this race, we’ve added to the prize money, and now we’re looking to target Group races for three-year-old fillies in Sydney or Brisbane. Additionally, being a BOBS registered horse, True Fairy received an additional $4000 on top of the first prize money.
